For the greater good

Even beginning to understand and know God’s love for me is incomprehensible. I once heard that if it was just us, you and I on earth, God would have still sent His Son Jesus to save the world! This is true, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) These are a few verses which speak of God’s greatness and sovereignty which when reflected on brings profound peace and satisfaction deep within.

God knows my every day before I even live it. In fact, He has a plan and a purpose, planned down to the finest detail as we read in Matthew 8:29-30, Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

As I read scripture today I’ve been convicted of the fact there are things that I do not even understand about my life. Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis is one of them! But, I accept it, and I’m thankful that in spite of all that has happened, God has me in the palm of His hands and has healed me in Jesus name.

“I will not forget you. I have written your name on the palms of my hands. ” ~ Isaiah 49:15-16.
