In Daniel 2 we see King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that needed interpretation. The dream that couldn’t be interpreted by anybody else (Daniel 2:8-11). Eventually, Daniel saw Arioch, the commander of the king’s guard, who explained the matter of the King’s dream. This made Daniel slightly troubled and eager to understand the dream. We see Daniel called upon God for help in (Daniel 2:20-23) interpreting the dream. When Daniel took the truth of the dream’s interpretation to the King, he received it well and placed Daniel in a high position over the land.

Daniel 2 for me reveals that God is sovereign in power, he helped Daniel interpret the dreams and saved the wise men who were going to interpret the King’s dream from execution. I believe truly that, “God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, …” (Daniel 2:47).
